Victor Moses, has revealed why he accepted to join Liverpool.
Just after completing his season-long loan move from Chelsea, Moses told Liverpool's official website that he is "delighted" to join "a big club like Liverpool."
Moses also pointed out that his target will be a top-four finish at Liverpool.
Moses, who was in the stands at Anfield to watch his new club beat champions Manchester United on Sunday, said he is at Liverpool to help them to keep their starting "momentum" in the Barclays Premier League.
The former Crystal Palace also recognizes that he has made a right decision by accepting a loan move to Liverpool after falling in the pecking order at Chelsea.
"It's definitely the right move - this is a massive club with all the history. The club has come a long way and it's great to be here and to be playing for Liverpool. I'm delighted to be here and I just want to enjoy my football.
The striker, who won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria, disclosed that England international, Daniel Sturridge convinced him to join the Reds.
He said from that point it was not a difficult decision to agree to join Liverpool.
"Yes, I spoke to Studge and he wanted me to come here. He said I'd love it here, but he didn't need to say much. The next morning, I had a word with my agent and told him it could be the right move for me. As I've said, it's a massive club with great history. The club is doing well, so I wanted to come here and enjoy my football. It's been great - I've been here since yesterday and everyone has been looking after me," said Moses.
Liverpool sealed deals for Moses alongside Tiago Ilori and Mamadou Sakho.
