Malawi’s national team, the Flames will not have a chance to train at the UJ Esuene stadium Calabar until Saturday morning.
The Malawian contingent touched at the Magareth Ekpo airport, Calabar at 4;45pm on Thursday and immediately proceeded to their base; the Dannic Hotel in Calabar.

The Flames did not train on Friday morning and will instead have their first session by 4pm on Friday at the University of Calabar football pitch.
Cross River state Sports Commissioner, Patrick Ugbe revealed that the Malawians will however be allowed to train at the UJ Esuene Stadium on match day.
“The Malawians will train (on Friday) evening at the University of Calabar but they will have a chance to train at the UJ Esuene stadium Calabar on match day if they so please,” Ugbe told supersport.com.
Malawi will qualify for the playoffs for the 2014 Fifa world cup if they defeat Nigeria on Saturday.
