Emenike hits brace in Fenerbahce win

Emmanuel Emenike has hit a purple patch that has seen him start banging in goals for fun.
The powerful forward scored a double for the Nigerian national team in a 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia in Addis Ababa on October 13 and followed it up with his first league goal of the season for Fenerbahce last weekend.

Emenike was among the goals on Friday as he fired in a brace for Fenerbahce in their 3-1 win over Gaziantepspor on match day 9 of the Super Ligue at the Sükrü Saracoglu Stadyumu (Istanbul).
The 26-year-old opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a powerful header from inside the box after Alper Potuk crossed in precise fashion from the right.
Emenike displayed dexterity for his second goal on 85 minutes following good work from teammate, Salih Uçan.
Fenerbahces win on Friday sees them cement their position at the top of the league standings with 22 points from nine matches.
The big striker has now scored three league goals this season following a slow start to life in Turkey after his switch from Russian club, Spartak Moscow in August.
